Truckfest has been wowing the crowds for more than 35 years now, in that time so many changes with road haulage and logistics have taken place that the industry has seen the demise of so many events. Truckfest has been the one constant for operators and drivers year on year, increasing in popularity. Truckfest has provided that all-important meeting place for all sectors of the industry as well as a viable alternative to make contact with both principles and drivers alike in a relaxed atmosphere.
Truckfest Peterborough continues to reign as our flagship trucking event of the year. 2017 saw the largest Truckfest event yet at the East of England Showground with over 2500 trucks in attendance and superb manufacturing stands from the likes of Mercedes, DAF, Renault, Volvo, Iveco and Scania.
The mighty Truckfest South West is set to return to its former home at the Royal Bath and West Showground on 1st and 2nd September after an enforced break of 5 years, everyone at Truckfest is thrilled that we are to return to Shepton Mallet in 2018.
The great annual jamboree for Scotland’s hard working Road Haulage Industry. Truckfest provides an opportunity for drivers and their families to relax and show off the vibrant liveries for which Scotland is justly famous, and the Royal Highland Showground is the perfect place to parade the colours.
Where it all began! Truckfest was born at the Newark and Notts Showground in 1983. The event returned to the very same place in 2011 to pay homage to the very early Truckfests and to celebrate what they have grown into. This event brings together a unique combination of the latest innovation and trucks from yester year, all wrapped up with family entertainment, main arena action and a generous dollop of nostalgia!
Truckfest South East sees a new location which will enable the event to expand as it is sure to do after 2016’s event. Next year will see the Hop Farm exhibition facility playing host to the South East’s very own Truckfest!
After almost 6 years, Truckfest returned too the North West of England in 2015. And the great news is – we are returning to the Cheshire Showground on the corresponding weekend in 2016. Truck North West is there to stay at the Cheshire Showground, with everyone in the North West taking the event to their hearts.
Our Malvern event has become well established in the West of England and in the gate way to Wales. The Malvern Showground provides a stunning back drop for the hauliers who operate at hubs throughout the West Midlands and Wales.
The East of England is such an important location for Road Transport that it is no accident that in 2018 Truckfest East will take place at Trinity Park, Ipswich. With its close proximity to the East Coast ports and the A14, the event has rightly found it’s home.
